Riccardo Gusmaroli, born in 1963 in Verona began his career with architectural photography and still life.
In the year 2000 he begins a very busy year of exhibits in galleries and public areas.
The word of the day in his works is travel, to compose that travel, at times mental at times realistic, with turbines of little boats and marked with tongues of painting as in the tiny baroque decorations in fluorescent colors.
His art is minimal, conceptual, made of small signs, clean and well defined. His objects are so recreated in their pureness they are almost metaphysical in their essentiality, demonstrating with irony the characterizing element; he is irony of a thousand faces.
Besides exhibiting in Italy, his personal shows have been in Tel Aviv, Paris, Berlin and New York.
